Galerie Wedding – Space for Contemporary Art

Inspired by what scholar Tina Campt describes as ‘textured identities’, artist Lois Alexander uses the embodied nature of dance and performance to articulate an in-between, a migratory state from various black feminist perspectives. Alexander will especially explore phenomena of watery bodies and pluralistic perceptions of selfhood, kin-making and being together in her performance.
